Nature is a “great whole” driven by common energies. We find the same colors, curves, streaks, veins, dotted lines, stripes, in animals, plants or minerals. Nature is thus a great game of camouflage. The insects that I make with shells, twigs, leaves, petals, seeds or grasses can confuse the distracted viewer. Since the objective is not to reproduce identically real invertebrates, these small plant insects are imaginary animals.
